Sipped hot cocoa and munched on toasted and salted peanuts on the quick plane ride back home. It was wonderful. Now I’m back home. The whole place is utterly transformed. We already have the Christmas tree setup but this time it’s 12 feet tall. It’s beautiful. There are large garlands hanging from the wall and on the staircase. Everything is absolutely gorgeous. My mom is a superb decorator.
My sheets are fresh! My whole bedroom smells sweet and clean and homey and everything I could want for Thanksgiving break. This is a great reprieve from all the stress and studying :)
