Just finished watching ‘Conversations With Other Women’! Strong performances from Aaron Eckhart and Helena Bonham Carter! There were several Carla Bruni songs in this film so I thought it would be fitting to post one on here :)

Had one of the busiest weekends of the year or quite possibly one of the best weekends! I got to meet one of Ben’s childhood friends who was visiting from California! We ate at Tofu Village and played pool into the wee hours of the morning. Finally got to use that “Buy 2 Get 1 Free” at the Tea House!

Next day, just Ben and I strolled through Kemah Boardwalk and rode the bullet roller coaster! We were trying to win each other these giant stuffed animals. We got two tiny plushies and a hat as a consolation prize before I won this massive giant penguin at the ring toss! Thanks to the new holiday hours, we spent quite a bit of time at Baybrook Mall to help find presents for Ben’s parents. And there was still time to buy bulgogi fries from the ‘OhMyGogi!’ food truck near rice village! We were driving everywhere!

Sunday, we finally watched The Hobbit! And Ben picked out a restaurant for dinner (and wouldn’t tell me about it!) Turns out he chose The Melting Pot which was basically a fondue restaurant! The four course dinner was absolutely delicious (and expensive lol) so we might come here again as long as it’s a very big occasion! The food was so good! I think I could eat fondue everyday now haha

It was a great way to celebrate the holidays since we’ll be in different cities for the actual Christmas and New Years Day. But even still, we’ve got plenty of important days coming up in January and February so there might still be even more fun than this! How exciting!!!
