France bans ketchup in school cafeterias
But I like ketchup :( C’est une mauvaise idée!
“We have to ensure that children become familiar with French recipes so that they can hand them down to the following generation,” he explained this week. “We have to stop children from being able to serve those sauces. Children have a tendency to use them to mask the taste of whatever they are eating.”
What my lunch looks like most days!
Finally found a chance to get food on campus! It’s called Four Star Cafe - Pasta Bar. They sell pasta, sandwiches, and other things you would find at a cafe. Seven dollars is a bit much for this, but I was definitely full after eating it. 1/3 locations on campus complete. Next attempt will be at Fun on the Bun! Hopefully the food will be cheaper.
Finally found internet to post these pictures! Finally beginning to settle into my new apartment for the year. I had a loaner car in the beginning because my other mini needed a lot of maintenance. I took pictures because… I thought it was cool that pressing a button started my car XD
I had free appetizers at pre-orientation day in Boomer Jack’s. Ben came along since he helped me move in. Orientation was a two-day affair but at least it came with breakfast and lunch for both days!
Internet won’t be set up in my apartment for another day or so, but the room near the leasing office is open and has a free wifi! Plus a free cappuccino machine!
I’m still getting a lot of things in order but once I have a schedule worked out, I think I can begin to set aside time for studying and time for fun. :)
