Just got my first Beauty Bar Sample Society box today! After trying out myglam and birchbox, I was hoping to be wowed by the box that cost $5 more. Was I? 

…yes! I was picturing something a little bigger because of the thumbnail, but it wasn’t by much. I’m really more than happy with the sizes, compared to the ones I received from the previous two. So what was in June’s box?

I’m probably the most excited about the clarifying cleanser and the Oscar de la Renta mini. I took a small whiff when I opened the package and it really is a classic scent. Gonna try the products out for the month and decide whether or not I’ll be looking forward to July’s box. :)

We went out shopping two days straight looking for something to wear for my cousin’s wedding which is coming up in two weeks. Since we didn’t want to match her color scheme (cornflower blue) we decided on a green theme!

Ben’s super busy with his preceptorship and since he’ll be heading out of town next month, we had to take care of this ASAP! We also went to the salon for a haircut (which I picked out for him). He usually hates short haircuts because they come out terrible but apparently he’s in love with this one he really really likes it :) Lucky!

February is always a busy month for us. It goes into overdrive pretty quickly once Ben’s birthday begins! Anniversary, Valentine’s Day, and my birthday follow soon after so it’s a volley of gifts that need to be exchanged. Despite the trickiness, I think this one has been pretty successful! I don’t really know when the cutoff for celebrating monthly anniversaries is, but I think hitting the two year mark means a tiny reprieve for our wallets…? Haha

Only took pictures of my handmade stuff but other presents did include a Fossil wallet and a Kenneth Cole watch! I’ll take pictures of the gifts Ben gave me later. :)
