Just got my first Beauty Bar Sample Society box today! After trying out myglam and birchbox, I was hoping to be wowed by the box that cost $5 more. Was I? 

…yes! I was picturing something a little bigger because of the thumbnail, but it wasn’t by much. I’m really more than happy with the sizes, compared to the ones I received from the previous two. So what was in June’s box?

I’m probably the most excited about the clarifying cleanser and the Oscar de la Renta mini. I took a small whiff when I opened the package and it really is a classic scent. Gonna try the products out for the month and decide whether or not I’ll be looking forward to July’s box. :)

My package finally arrived! To be honest, I was really close to just cancelling my subscription because of the delayed arrival and the shady ‘Help’ section but I’m actually pretty happy with what I received. In a cute shimmery make-up bag, I have:

1. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion
2. All-Belle False Eyelashes (directions in Chinese though)
3. Dermstore Lip Quench
4. All-over eyeshadow brush and eyeliner brush

Not too bad, I would say. The theme for April’s bag was ‘Girl’s Night Out’ so I suppose this fit the bill. I think I’ll hold out to see what May’s bag will have :)
