Perfect for this beautiful Sunday afternoon! Still holed up in my room with pharmacology though :(

In an effort to keep my body from developing clots (DVT baby!) and to keep my brain from getting more fried than it already is, I will keep my body somewhat active by learning this routine.
This is just as good as my pilates routine.
The neighbors will thank me for my singing.
I didn’t like her music at first. Born To Die took awhile for me to enjoy. I didn’t give her much thought until I read online about the outcry against her performance on SNL. I didn’t think she did as badly as all the comments were groaning about, but I did take the time to try listening to some of her other works.
The moment I listened to this song, Video Games, I fell in love. With her voice. With her lyrics. I’m slowly revisiting some of her other songs, but this one will be holding a special spot for a good, long while.
Kicking back with kitkats, hershey’s kisses, and ferrero rochers to this song. I’ve got a large box of madeleines and coconut meringe in the kitchen. I feel obligated to say that I have been working out (cardio, pilates, and a wee bit of yoga) so I don’t feel too guilty divulging all the tasty treats I have.
Probably going to squeeze in an unhealthy amount of minecraft tonight with Ben before studying like crazy. I’m all tuckered out from hanging out with friends during the day so I’m ready to chill!
Still a little bit of break left to enjoy before classes start. I’m going to try to squeeze in as much relaxation and fun as I can :)
It’s been quietly raining all day. A mist in the morning, a drizzle in the afternoon, and now a slow trickle with the coming moon. I’m wrapped up with microbiology (two weeks, one textbook, one exam = severe dislike!) but this song is keeping the mood mellow. Huzzah.
I know this is old but it came up on one of the numerous music sites I was browsing through. Instantly taken back to checking out Acoustic Cafe with the girls; while part of it was for stress management, we did enjoy the music in the end. Especially that sultry duo which I will never figure out their names, band name, or that sultry song! :(
I haven’t eaten since 10 AM but I’ve got free coffee in my rapidly shrinking stomach. I’m also rocking to this song while studying in the library.
